Yes, if you pick the right camp. The cluster nearest the road is noisy and crowded; the quieter camps are 15–20 minutes further out and materially better.
How do I reach Jaisalmer?
Most travellers come overland from Jodhpur, about five hours. The airport is seasonal, and the overnight train from Delhi is long but comfortable in 2A.
