When to go
Singapore is warm and humid all year with no real seasons, so it is a year-round destination. February to April tends to be a little drier and comfortable; the wetter monsoon months (November to January) bring short, heavy showers rather than all-day rain, and the attractions are largely indoor or covered. Big events like the Formula 1 night race (September) and the year-end festive season push demand up, so book early around those.
Good to know before you fly
- Currency is the Singapore Dollar (SGD); cards work everywhere, with some cash for hawker stalls — we arrange both.
- Getting around is effortless: the MRT reaches nearly everywhere, and Changi Airport is 20–30 minutes from the city.
- Rules matter — Singapore enforces fines for littering, jaywalking and eating on the MRT, and chewing gum is restricted; it keeps the city famously clean.
- Book attractions ahead — Universal Studios, the SkyPark and popular restaurants sell out in peak periods.
