The Andaman Islands offer some of India’s clearest water and best beaches — Radhanagar on Havelock is regularly rated among Asia’s finest — along with coral reefs, scuba and snorkelling, and the poignant history of Port Blair’s Cellular Jail. When to go
October to May is the best window — calm seas, clear water and reliable ferries. The monsoon (June to September) is greener and cheaper but the sea can be rough. We plan ferries and activities around the season.
Good to know: Indian nationals don’t need a permit for the main tourist islands, but a few areas require entry permits, which we arrange; inter-island ferries book out in peak season, so early booking matters.
